Geelong IT services provider Evologic Technologies is the latest reseller to enter the CRN Fast50 awards.
First-time entrant and Evologic founder Chris Davies said he was spurred on by favourable feedback from WA reseller Zaun Bhana, whose Leap Consulting placed 36 in last year's awards list.
Davies said Evologic was a strong contender because it invested heavily in intellectual property in the past two years.
"In the last 12 months we've obviously seen the growth as a result of that [investment], which we expect to see again this year," Davies said.
He started the business with Garry Kovacs in 2002 to support businesses running Microsoft Windows.
Two years later they bought Geelong's Global IT, doubling their number of customers.
More recently, Evologic shifted from break-fix solutions to managed services with vendors HP and Kaseya.
Davies said the company provided computer and network systems support and design and anti-virus backup services.
