CRN Fast50 deadline extended

Following an overwhelming response from resellers, the deadline to enter the CRN Fast50 has been extended one week.  

Some have asked for more time to get financials verified, so CRN has extended the deadline for entries from close of business today to next Friday, September 24.

A list of the 50 fastest growing resellers, judged by sales turnover of FY09 versus FY10, will be the cover story of the November issue.

The CRN Fast50 microsite and magazine will list the channel players at the height of their games, feature interviews with the top resellers and the distributors that backed them.

CRN will also fly all CRN Fast50 finalists to Sydney for an exclusive evening with leading vendors and distributors.

We will also reveal the top ten throughout the night.  

Resellers of all shapes and sizes have signed up for the chance to be recognised as the CRN's fastest growing reseller. 

First-time entrant Evologic's founder Chris Davies said he was spurred on by favourable feedback from WA reseller Zaun Bhana, whose Leap Consulting placed 36th in last year's awards list.

Entering for the second time, Perth IT reseller Stellar Systems' owner Stephen Surleff was quick off the mark to be part of the channel's No. 1 awards list once again submitting his entry just days after CRN opened the list for entries. 

Surleff said his speed to get on board was driven by last year's success as the seventh fastest-growing reseller.

"Last year I said the key thing for us was enablement with the distributors and I should say that the distributors have been in touch quite a bit.

"They have shown attention, it has been a real big increase," he said
