Crayon upgrades Cloud-iQ platform across APAC

Crayon has launched the Asia-Pacific rollout of its enhanced Cloud-iQ platform, consolidating partner operations under a single global system whilst phasing out its previous Cloud-iQ versions and PRISM billing platform.

The company, acquired by SoftwareONE for US$1.4 billion late last year, said the technology investment is to streamline license management and boost partner growth capabilities across the region.

"We have invested heavily into Cloud-iQ because we believe our partners deserve a simpler, smarter way to procure licensing, so that they can focus on their business rather than licensing operations," Rhonda Robati, executive vice president APAC at Crayon, said.

The platform consolidates license management, billing automation, and business intelligence into a single interface designed to handle complex multi-vendor, multi-market cloud environments.

Key features include automated provisioning and billing systems to reduce operational friction, alongside commercial insights dashboards that identify growth opportunities for partners.

Crayon has built multi-currency and tax-compliant infrastructure into the platform to support seamless regional operations, with scalability features designed to accommodate partner growth across APAC markets.

The development process involved extensive collaboration with partners globally, including direct input from channel partners across the Asia-Pacific region.

"We've listened closely to our partners," Robati said.

"Cloud-iQ brings together everything they've asked for: the best of PRISM and the previous versions of the Cloud-iQ platform, and better visibility, less complexity, and tools that genuinely support their growth.

"It's one of the most important investments we've made in the past few years."

The legacy PRISM platform previously served as Crayon's partner billing system in Australia and New Zealand, providing real-time vendor portal integration, analytics, and reporting tools.
