Compuware nabs new ANZ channel manager
Graham Dean

Multinational software and service provider Compuware has appointed a new partner manager for ANZ.

Graham Dean has joined Compuware to manage the channel out of Melbourne. The company said in a statement that Dean was managing director for Infragistics' Asia Pacific operations, and also has had stints at Quest Software, NetIQ, Data#3, CA and New Dimension Software.

"[Dean's] proficiency in partner-led sales, coupled with driving successful go-to-market strategies within the channel community will be an invaluable asset to Compuware in ANZ as we continue to expand the role of our channel program in supporting our company’s growth trajectory," said Steve Jobson, senior vice president of Compuware Asia-Pacific.

"A priority will be around identifying and building out new and existing partnerships in the independent software vendor, value added reseller and managed services markets."

The vendor said that about 70 percent of revenues in the Asia Pacific are sourced from the channel and that it aims to match this figure in Australia specifically.

The recruitment of Dean follows Anthony Clarke's appointment last month as the new regional director for ANZ. Compuware is currently pushing its application performance management credentials with high profile sample cases such as identifying bugs in the official FIFA World Cup mobile app.
