Computer equipment worth approximately $100,000 was stolen from the Artarmon, Sydney, warehouse of IT services company Commander during a ram raid.
Shortly after midnight on 9 February, thieves reversed a white Hi-ace van through the front roller doors of Commander's warehouse in George Place, Artarmon.
Commander executives declined to comment on the robbery. CRN travelled to the location and discovered workmen repairing the door the morning after the raid. It was confirmed that the warehouse had been robbed.
According to NSW Police, the offenders "loaded computers and associated equipment into the rear of the van.
"The van and a blue Subaru WRX with two offenders inside then drove from the scene north along George Place. A crime scene has been established and police will view security vision from a nearby building," NSW Police said.
At time of publication, the offenders had not been apprehended. Investigations are continuing.
ASX-listed Commander is in the process of a hostile takeover bid for IT services outfit Volante Group.
