Cloud communications platform Telnyx has appointed Jerry Ng as channel partner manager for APAC.
He joins from Aussie Broadband-owned software company Symbio, where he was business development manager.
Ng has also previously held roles at Tech Data, Bluechip, CommsPlus Distribution, Jabra, Panasonic Australia and Optus.
Telnyx is a full-stack platform designed for 'real-time conversational AI', combining global telephony, AI infrastructure, and full customisability under one roof for customers to design and deploy AI-powered agents.
"Telnyx is truly redefining the global communications landscape by combining a private, carrier-grade fiber network with a developer-first software layer," Ng said in a post on LinkedIn.
"I’m particularly excited to help our APAC partners leverage low-latency AI agents that run directly on our private global network for superior real-time performance; a unified suite including Microsoft Teams Operator Connect, Global SIP Trunking, and Programmable Messaging; [and] Global IoT Connectivity and Voice APIs designed for massive scale and reliability".
Telnyx was one of a number of global customers who trialled services when Symbio launched its domestic network in Malaysia in 2023.
