Civica acquires Melbourne contract management firm LinkSafe

Global IT services provider Civica has acquired Melbourne-based contractor management specialist LinkSafe.

Launched in 2005, LinkSafe’s cloud-based contractor management platform is used by over 500 organisations in range of sectors, including those served by Civica like education, central and local government, and healthcare. 

The solution will form part of Civica’s global GovTech offering which is used by over 6,000 public bodies worldwide at local, national and federal level.

Civica said LinkSafe’s solution will add new capabilities to its GovTech offering to help customers address challenges around the onboarding and management of contractors, ranging from induction to compliance with health and safety rules.

The solution centralises and streamlines tasks including capturing contractor credentials, incident management and hazard reporting.
