Citrix has redesigned its certification program for local channel partners, as part of its changes to its global partner program.
The vendor will now offer Citrix Certified Integration Architect 4 (CCIA) for Citrix Access Suite 4 and Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator 4 (CCEA) for Citrix Access Suite 4.
The redesigned certifications are part of changes Citrix made to its partner program, announced in February, said Wendy Smith, Citrix channel development manager.
“When we made changes to our partner program, we said our partners must be trained up on our products,” she said.
The upgraded CCEA 4 certification enables system administrators to integrate all Citrix Access Suite products into a single environment, the company said.
These programs also include exams which are modular based and are to be completed in segments, "unlike the previous to be completed in one-go exams", said Smith.
Citrix is also offering partners an incentive to complete the certifications, some partners could up to a 40 percent rebate off the total cost of exams and courses, she said.
All courses for the CCIA 4 and CCEA 4 certifications are currently available with the last exams for each certification will be available from July.
Additional information on these and all Citrix certifications can be found at www.citrix.com/edu.
