Check Point Software Technologies will embed OpenAI's frontier AI models directly into its customer-facing security products, workflows and managed services through the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Program.
The programme is open to a select group of security vendors and allows Check Point to integrate OpenAI models inside its defences rather than use them internally only. The company said the shift is designed to sharpen threat prevention, accelerate remediation and strengthen security operations for customers.
The rollout is deliberately staged, beginning with controlled defensive use cases and expanding only as those protections are validated. Check Point and OpenAI said they are working together to define standards for the responsible use of frontier AI in security, including protections against misuse.
"As one of a select group of security vendors chosen for the OpenAI Daybreak Cyber Partner Program, Check Point is uniquely positioned to bring frontier AI capabilities directly into the security solutions customers depend on every day," said Roi Karo, chief strategy officer at Check Point Software.
"This is what it means to lead in AI-powered security: not just adopting new technology, but shaping how it gets built and deployed responsibly across the industry."
