ERP vendor Actuate has appointed a channel director to lead the US firm's new partner strategy in Australasia.
The new ANZ director is Grant Christian, former GM of Asia-Pacific channels at US enterprise performance management software firm CorVu Corporation.
Christian said Actuate might expand its Australasian channel. "We will be taking a collaborative approach tailored to each partner and their market," he said.
The vendor sought service delivery partners with reporting, information and enterprise business intelligence (BI) skills to help with local contracts. Key Australian and New Zealand-based channel partners would be recruited over the next year to expand Actuate's reach and revenue, he said.
Christian would seek system integrators and consultants with government expertise in banking, finance, utilities, education and corporate verticals.
David Runacres, regional director of Actuate Asia-Pacific, said ERP might most help organisations that managed and delivered information enterprise-wide.
NASDAQ-listed Actuate claims to have 2,200 direct customers and 300 OEM partners worldwide.
