Canberra-based software developer and services outfit TASKey signed its first two channel partners, Management and Executive Software (MES) in Victoria and Executive Intelligence in South Australia.
Simply, TASKey TEAM is Australian developed web-based team collaboration software which “provides a structured way for organisations and individuals to co-ordinate their work and get tasks done,” said Neil Miller, managing director at TASKey.
It lets organisations increase team co-ordination and achieve corporate strategy by linking employee and team actions to business objectives, the company said.
The ISV is looking for partners to ramp up license sales of the software in new geographical markets such as Queensland, Tasmania, WA, North Territory and New Zealand off the back of several export wins, the latest with US-based Fashional Solutions.
The US-company is using the software to co-ordinate software development activities between its base in India and its US-based parent, Fashional Technologies.
The company markets a Photo-Fit modelling software that enables online clothing shoppers to order garments that fit perfectly. Fashional will use the TASKey TEAM to co-ordinate future development of this software and support documentation in India, by communicating the specifications required for development by its US-based parent, the company said.
The software also provides management with an audit trail of task and teamwork to ensure software development is on schedule and accurate information on progress is available, the company said.
Since its inception in 1991, the software has been predominantly sold direct. Executive Intelligence planned to use the software to improve the implementation and tracking of strategic management services it offers to government, utilities and SMEs.
MES on the other hand, would use the software to provide workflow collaboration and task management functionality within its own web-based strategic planning and performance management tool.
Some of TASKey’s biggest clients include the Australian Department of Defence and construction company Multiplex.
