CA Technologies have appointed Simon Bills to head up the company's data management business in the ANZ region.
Bills, who has over 30 years in the IT industry, is set to work closely with distribution partners resellers, managed service providers and systems integrators.
The company's vice president of data management in the Asia-Pacific region, James Forbes-May, expressed confidence towards the appointment saying "We have a very strong channel and Simon will be dedicated to responding to the needs of our partner community, while continuing to expand the footprint of our data management products."
Previously, Bills held the position of CA Technologies ANZ distribution and channel manager. Before joining CA Technologies, he was the country manager at Quantum for both their UK and ANZ operations.
This announcement comes off the back of last month's appointment of Kenneth Arredondo as the president and general manager of CA Technologies in the Asia-Pacific and Japan.
