Queensland technology executive Andrew Davis has joined a Silicon Valley innovation program, strengthening links between Australian and American tech sectors.
Davis, a director of Brisbane consultancy 3 Dot Digital, joins the UQ Ventures program in Silicon Valley this January.
UQ Ventures is run by the University of Queensland.
"Being invited to work alongside Fluix in Silicon Valley is an incredible opportunity to bring Australian innovation to the forefront of global tech development," Davis said.
The program connects Australian entrepreneurs with major technology companies in Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem.
Participants gain exclusive access to industry giants including NVIDIA, Adobe, META, Tesla and Salesforce.
Davis takes on a mentorship role with Fluix, a company specialising in AI-powered workflow automation tools.
The initiative includes networking opportunities at the University of San Francisco Master of Sciences, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mixer and Circuit Launch, a hardware startup hub.
This collaboration aims to strengthen Fluix's global expansion while fostering ties between Australian technology firms and Silicon Valley.
3 Dot Digital operates as a consultancy focusing on digital solutions and technology strategy in the Brisbane market.
The program represents a significant step in building bridges between Queensland's growing technology sector and global innovation centres.
Networking events and facility tours form key components of the innovation program's structure.
