Former Brennan IT head of marketing Robin Marchant has joined Squiz after four years with the managed services provider.
In his new role as marketing director, Marchant will be responsible for driving the global brand forward, and developing a solid marketing engine for Squiz.
Squiz is a Sydney-based company that produces CMS software, web analytics and integration tools. The company has a $5.3 million contract to replace the TAFE NSW website.
Marchant said he still cares about the progress of Brennan IT, but is looking forward to leveraging Squiz into new markets. “Squiz has a very good name in specific industries, like government and education sectors,” said Marchant.
“But there’s a potential for new markets. We’ll be looking to drive into the private sector, financial services and media and publishing.”
His new role as marketing director of Squiz is a newly created position that encompasses global marketing for Squiz, including Australia, New Zealand, UK and the US.
Marchant is a 15-year marketing veteran, having held the role of head of marketing at Brennan IT for two years, and national marketing manager for two years. He also worked as marketing manager for communications companies PGi and Arkadin.
