Bluechip introduces Accelerite to Australian channel

BlueChip Infotech has signed a deal to bring US enterprise software vendor Accelerite to Australia and New Zealand.

Accelerite has made direct sales to the region in the past, but is looking to establish a 100 percent channel model. BlueChip is the first distributor to offer Radia through the channel in Australia.

“Accelerite’s strategic distribution partnership with BlueChip Infotech will play a key role in the company’s targeted expansion into the Australian & New Zealand market,” said Accelerite chief revenue officer Eric Webster.

The relationship will begin by offering Radia, an end-point management tool that unifies an organisations device management into one interface.

“Enterprises in the region are facing new data protection regulations and this partnership will provide a world class end-point management and MDM solution to meet the growing compliance needs of local companies," said Webster.

While Bluechip already offers a number of end-point management tools, the distie's director of enterprise solutions Phil Lancaster says Radia’s advantage is its ability to manage any device from one platform.

“All of our partners have to deal with end-point managing devices and are looking for things to help them in a managed services sense,” said Lancaster.

“Radia is one of those gems we manage to find where they have a massive international install base and a product the market is hot for – how to manage all my end point devices, something beyond an MDM.”

Accelerite has two other products, disaster recover solution Rovius and cloud backup tool rCloud.
