Craig Flatt will join Blue Coat Systems from February 2008 as channel account manager for A/NZ. He brings nearly 10 years experience in the security and networking sectors of IT.
In this role, Flatt will be responsible for channel management, program development and partner recruitment in the region.
“We are pleased to have Craig Flatt on board as our Channel Account Manager in A/NZ. The channel market is always one of our priorities at Blue Coat Systems,” said Wayne Neich, country manager, Blue Coat A/NZ.
Flatt will begin his tenure by driving the Channel Partner Program for value added resellers, systems integrators and distributors.
“[Flatt’s] extensive experience in the channel market we believe will bring true value to our channel partners and grow the partner base in A/NZ,” said Neich.
Prior to joining Blue Coat Systems A/NZ, Flatt held a position with Blue Coat Systems UK for four years. He has also worked at Integralis UK for approximately five years.
“We have some exciting plans for the channel this year,” said Neich. “The Channel Partner Program that Craig will be focusing on is a customised program dedicated to the development and promotion of partner solutions and services. It is another proof of our commitment to the A/NZ markets.”
