Baidam has elevated Beau Hodge to the role of CEO.
After joining Baidam as CFO in 2021, Hodge subsequently took on the COO role, and in 2025, he served as acting CEO for nine months before accepting the permanent CEO role in March 2026.
Prior to his time at Baidam, Hodge worked as the national operations manager at Red Energy Promotions, as well as holding a number of roles over close to nine years spent at Indigenous Business Australia.
For Jack Reis and Pip Jenkinson, co-founders and owners of Baidam, Hodge’s appointment allows the duo to focus on company growth, direction, and social impact initiatives at an executive level.
Jenkinson said that due to his "unwavering commitment, level head, consistency, and knowledge", Hodge is very much a safe pair of hands for Baidam.
"His strong financial background means that he can effectively maintain our continued growth trajectory and hit our targets without board involvement, and as a member of the board – that’s something I feel very comfortable with," he said.
“His years of experience with Baidam in other C-level roles have all contributed to his ability to naturally transition into the CEO position.
“It was obvious to us from the outset that Beau not only could go far in Baidam, but that he was completely aligned to our desire to do good,” says Reis.
“He was excited that we were doing what we’d promised, actively contributing to closing the ICT career gap for Indigenous people. Our social goals were - and remain – incredibly important to him.”
“While cybersecurity has been a significant learning curve, the level of support from those around me has been generous and valuable," said Hodge.
"Now, I’m excited to be able to lead the business’s growth, drive even stronger cyber postures for our customers, add more innovative capabilities to the business, and grow and diversify our social impacts.”
Hodge is based at Baidam’s head office in Brisbane.
