Cybersecurity firm Barracuda Networks has launched a set of improvements to its partner offerings.
First, Barracuda has set up a new partner sales engineer community.
Second, the security vendor has enhanced its partner success program to help channel companies strengthen their security offerings.
The company unveiled the initiatives to provide its value-added resellers, managed service providers and distributors with expanded technical resources and training capabilities.
"The need for always-on security operations is critical in protecting against today's complex cybersecurity threats, and partners need to prioritise complete solutions that are easy to buy, deploy, and use," Jason Beal, vice president of worldwide partner ecosystems at Barracuda said.
Partners can now access exclusive training labs, scanning tools and live product demos through the new sales engineer community platform.
The program also offers rewards and networking opportunities with industry peers.
Key enhancements to the partner success program include the introduction of Security Operations Center (SOC)-as-a-Service capabilities through Barracuda Managed XDR, now available to all partners for the first time.
The cloud-native platform provides round-the-clock threat detection and response through a globally distributed SOC, helping partners boost their cybersecurity offerings without requiring specialised expertise.
Additional improvements include new technical certifications for Barracuda Managed XDR and updated certifications for other key products like Email Protection and Cloud-to-Cloud Backup.
The company has also rolled out new dashboard modules to help partners track program compliance, revenue achievements and rebate targets in real-time.
These updates build upon Barracuda's partner success program, which launched in December 2023, designed to support partners across various market approaches including managed services, resale and marketplaces.
The enhanced program and new sales engineer community are now available to Barracuda partners worldwide.
