Barracuda Networks has gone live with its Australian cloud storage for Barracuda Backup customers.
Based in Sydney, the new data centre will support Barracuda customers Australia-wide using Barracuda Backup’s secure, scalable and redundant cloud-enabled solution.
Barracuda Backup is an end-to-end business backup solution for hybrid physical and virtual server environments.
The Sydney data centre also will support Barracuda’s Cloud LiveBoot for VMware which enables a virtual machine to be booted directly in the Barracuda Cloud from de-duplicated backup storage. Cloud LiveBoot helps reduce overall downtime and latency, as well as provides customers with a platform for testing and sandboxing their servers to validate software upgrades or changes.
