AVG Technologies has been named Vendor of the Year by the Australian Computer Troubleshooters Franchise Network (FNCTA) for the fifth time in six years.
FNCTA national director Nick Roche said: “It is clear from the scoring that underpinning AVG’s well-respected and recognisable brand is its winning combination of consistently high-quality service and the revenue-generating innovations it keeps introducing to its reseller program.”
AVG channel sales director Michael Dowling said the award was much valued recognition for the channel support team. “We are very proud to again be rewarded for our efforts by the Computer Troubleshooters Franchise Network.
“An award of this stature helps inspire us to keep finding new ways to help the reseller community increase margins and retain their small business customers.”
Dowling said that a key factor behind AVG’s continuing success is its excellent, locally based support crew, which operates from AVG offices in Cheltenham, Victoria.
The judges’ comments underscored that by recognising that at AVG there were no language or time zone barriers; response times were fast; and the team understood their business and end customer needs. The judges acknowledged AVG’s diversity of its product, the design of its reseller program and its very favourable pricing for partners that have small to medium client bases.
AVG previously won the award in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012.
