Avanade starts Adobe practice

Avanade has started a practice dedicated to connecting Adobe Experience Cloud with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure.

News of the practice was revealed by Adobe in a blog post that detailed a plan for Avanade to “build an Adobe practice, connecting Adobe Experience Cloud with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Azure to provide each client with a customised solution specific to its unique needs and objectives.”

Adobe and Avanade already work together in other spheres. In March 2019 the pair revealed an expanded customer experience partnership, and in June 2019 Avanade announced it had developed “a solution featuring Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure Machine Learning and Adobe Campaigns to bridge gaps in physical and digital processes to deliver contextual experiences across channels.

Avanade was co-founded by Microsoft and Accenture. Microsoft retains a significant shareholding in the company, but Accenture is now the majority owner and operates Avanade as an independent company. But Accenture’s Microsoft Business Group “will help accelerate these opportunities.”

That group was launched in February 2019 as a way to use Avanade’s expertise on digital transformation projects led by Accenture. Now it appears Adobe will become more a part of that offering.
