Aussie wins Kaspersky Asia-Pac reseller of the year

Kaspersky Lab has named Sydney and Melbourne’s Globalnet Solutions as its Asia-Pacific reseller of the year.

The award was presented at the security vendor’s eighth annual Asia-Pacific partner conference at the Intercontinental Da Nang Peninsula resort in Vietnam, held 25 to 28 May.

"This award is very dear to all of us at Globalnet Solutions and the reseller community of Australia. It represents years of hard work. Being honoured with the best in Asia-Pacific is a very big privilege for us,” Globalnet managing director Naz Sibaei (pictured, centre) said. 

“Our relationship with Kaspersky Lab goes back a long way. Together, we have woven its successful Australian story."

Sibaei said Australia is a great market for Kaspersky due to its rise in the use of digital devices.

Kaspersky ANZ general manager Peter Brady said: “One of the biggest contributors to the success of Kaspersky has been our partners. Globalnet Solutions has demonstrated great success for Kaspersky Lab’s solutions to clients. They have achieved strong sales with year on year growth and shown tremendous dedication and commitment to Kaspersky over the past year.”
