Aussie school software vendor ReadCloud signs distribution agreement with training provider

Australian cloud education software vendor ReadCloud has signed a distribution agreement with adult education provider Australian Training Products.

The three-year deal will see Melbourne-based ATP use ReadCloud’s platform exclusively as its digital content encryption and eReading delivery platform.

“We are excited to partner with ReadCloud as their technology can protect our digital content to reduce piracy and deliver a seamless integration with our customers’ Learning Management Systems,” ATP executive director Garry Gow said.

“We look forward to offering our customers the ReadCloud platform to enable secure delivery of our content.”

ATP was formed in 2017 with the merger of training providers Innovation & Business Skills Australia and Futura Group. It provides customised learner resources for both local and international customers across vocational training, universities and in the commercial sector.

ReadCloud provides e-learning software for secondary school students, which is protected by anti-piracy technology. The platform runs on IBM’s Bluemix cloud and can be white labelled or rebranded by a reseller.

“We are delighted to have partnered with ATP as it provides a significant opportunity to
leverage the ReadCloud digital education platform across a new and much broader customer base in the vocational education and training sector,” ReadCloud chief Lars Lindstrom said.

Prior to the agreement, ReadCloud’s technology has already been deployed in some of ATP’s customers, including an undisclosed university, TAFE and four other training providers.
