Asus is already preparing the follow-up to its Padfone, just two months after the hybrid device arrived in Australia.
Asus sent out invitations to events in Milan, Italy and Taipei, Taiwan for the 16th October, showing off a portion of the upcoming second generation tablet-smartphone hybrid.
The second Padfone is expected to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with a 13MP camera, LTE and 2GB of RAM in a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 Super IPS+ display, reported Engadget.
Asus is yet to comment on the upcoming device.
The Padfone is a smartphone that can be docked inside a station, turning it into a 10.1 inch tablet.
