ASUS has partnered with Leader Computers to distribute its full range of Open Platform products across Australia.
The vendor's open platform products refer to motherboards, graphics cards, displays, multimedia, optical storage and other products.
The deal will see Leader, which bills itself as a strictly trade-only national IT distributor, get ASUS products to market through its five warehouses across Australia. The distribution deal kicks off from the end of the third quarter of 2017.
Leader Computers managing director Theo Kristoris said his company looks forward to working with the vendor.
“We are very proud to be appointed as ASUS’ distributor as we see great opportunities for our resellers to grow their business with the innovative technologies ASUS continually brings to the market," he said.
"We look forward to working closely with the IT reseller community and ASUS to help grow both ASUS market share & our resellers’ businesses consistently.”
Leader joins other ASUS Open Platform distributors Ingram Micro, Synnex, Anyware, Mittoni and Dicker Data.
