ASG wins WA education Oracle deal

ASG has inked a $14.8 million, five year deal with WA’s department of education. The deal will see the services company modernise the department’s existing investment in Oracle technology.

According to ASG, the deal marks the first time the company has provided this type of solution as a modernisation of a customer’s existing Oracle licenses.

The department has employed ASG since 2006 to provide finance, HR and managed payroll services. The department has the largest single payroll in the state.

“Over the years ASG has built a strong understanding of the department of education’s mission critical Oracle environment,” said ASG CEO Geoff Lewis, in a statement. “Expanding our relationship to include ASG’s Oracle Business Solutions attests to the strength of the relationship and our ability to anticipate the department’s future needs.”

The education deal is the latest in a string of new business wins for ASG totalling close to $25 million. The company also indicated it is close to signing an additional $60 million worth of business in the coming weeks.
