ASG has won an $11 million, three-year cloud and desktop platform contract with the Australian National Audit Office.
ASG said it had been tasked with assisting ANAO’s digital transformation program as it adopted a “digital-first” methodology in the delivery of its audit services. Part of this will see ASG shift ANAO to activity-based working to support audit staff that often work remotely.
To that end, the solutions provider will deliver a set of “as a service” offerings including service desk, desktop, security and service management services, in addition to an infrastructure-as-a-service offering.
ASG chief operating officer Dean Langenbach said ASG was looking forward to delivering government-tested services to the ANAO.
“We have a flexible commercial model, with agility built into the core of our contracts to ensure that our solutions are the best fit for each customer, deliver scalability, efficiency and significant cost savings.”
The deal win follows ASG’s announcement that it had landed an $84 million secure cloud and desktop as a service deal with Airservices Australia.
That deal will see ASG play a key role in transforming Airservices’ key business systems, and will be backed by the company's 2017 acquisition of SMS Management and Technology, according to chief operating officer Dean Langenbach.
ASG was in February awarded a contract with Victoria's Department of Justice for a cloud hosting platform from Macquarie Telecom.
The ANAO’s charter is to ensure the public sector performs optimally by means of regular audit and analysis, a task ASG expects to help modernise through new digital services.
