ASG lands $15m WA utility contract

ASX-listed ASG Group has won a $15 million contract to supply IT services to a Western Australian electricity and utility company for five years.

Unable to disclose the customer at the customer's request, ASG said it was a Western Australia government energy utility.

Western Power, Synergy or Horizon Power were possible contenders.

Last year ASG penned a $35 million contract with Western Power for data centre facilities, mid-range infrastructure, network and VoIP services.

While, this contract would have ASG deliver mid-range server and network services support, disaster recovery and project work for five years.

ASG Group general manager, sales and delivery, Murray Rosa said the deal "highlights our technical expertise and its ability to forge strong relationships".

ASG has secured $53 million of new contracts secured in the first half and reported a record revenue of $74.03 million in its interim first half financial results.
