Tenable Network Security has announced Arrow as its distribution partner for Australia and New Zealand in what marks the first Australian distribution agreement for the business security vendor.
The agreement comes as Tenable looks to grow its business in the region and serve demand for security technology as cloud, BYOD, internet of things and other emerging technologies become more prevalent.
Arrow will offer its own sales partners to help resellers deliver Tenable Network Security products.
Gary Jackson, Tenable Network Security Asia-Pacific vice president, said Arrow would be a key player as his company sought to double its sales in the ANZ region this year.
“Australia and New Zealand account for a large part of our annual revenue in APAC, so expanding our channel focus to reach more mid-market and enterprise customers with Arrow will help us accelerate growth in a very important strategic market for the rest of this year and into 2017,” he said.
Tenable’s Peter Raven was appointed as the company’s first ANZ channel manager in June, and recently featured in CRN’s top 100 channel chief special. Based in Sydney, Raven is tasked with growing strong relationships to help speed Tenable technology to the company’s growing markets.
“It’s important that resellers and vendors work closely to ensure customers deploy the right security solutions to meet the demands of the evolving threat environment. I look forward to building strong alliances with our existing and future partners, and working together to bring next-generation cybersecurity to our shared customers,” he said last week.
Australian Tenable resellers include Content Security, Data#3, Seccom Global, Dimension Data, Enosys and Datacom TSS.
