Apple picks DiData to train resellers
Dimension Data Learning Solutions (DDLS) has become one of the first Australian training providers for Apple’s enterprise market through a new partnership.

The agreement will cater to Apple’s growing enterprise customer base which includes marketing, HR, learning and development and content production. Under the agreement DDLS will initially offer training in the following courses; Mac OS 101 Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.4; Mac OS 105 Introduction to Supporting Mac OS v10.4 for Windows Administrators and Mac OS 200 Mac OS X Server Essentials v10.4

Steve Ross, general manager at DDLS told CRN, it was originally engaged to provide Apple with internal training in Cisco on a number of disciplines.

“DDLS saw a gap in the market place and we wanted to ensure that our customers experienced a central point of contact for all their training,” he said.

According to Ross, Apple also relocated from Frenchs Forest to the CBD and as DDLS had the facilities available, it was able to provide them with services they needed and Express Online, a company of Dimension Data, also distributes Apple products.

He said the partnership will also “increase in training accessibility for resellers means their customer service levels for clients will improve. It falls in line with reseller training offerings.”

Apple courses being offered by DDLS will commence from 9 October. DDLS’ Apple courses are now available for bookings. To book a course, go to www.ddls.com.au or call 13 12 01.
