Amazon Web Services has appointed Bulletproof as its first Australian premier consulting partner.
While there are more than 8000 AWS consulting partners, there are only 22 premier partners globally.
Mark Randall, Bulletproof's chief customer officer, said: "Amazon looked at our track record. We had a significant track record of bringing customers onboard and making sure they were adequately supported.
"They also looked at how we innovated as an Amazon partner."
Bulletproof launched Managed AWS On Demand, Australia’s first ‘pay as you go’ managed AWS service. Randall told CRN earlier the consumption model the support service is based on better aligns with the pricing structure of cloud services.
The company also launched a new data import service that allows customers to move their data to the cloud.
Bulletproof, which is preparing for a public listing, now has 45 staff with different Amazon AWS accreditations and certifications.
Although the AWS component is a growing segment for Bulletproof, they still have a solid base of existing clients using their own service that uses VMware.
