Also Technology is 100 percent channel orientated and does not deal directly with the end user.
It started in 1992 as a distributor and systems integrator and works with leading manufacturers including Canon, Numan, Ritek, Vogue, Mitsubishi, Dvico, Logitech, MSI, Fujitsu, D-Link, Microsoft, Intel and Panasonic.
Ming Ho, Also Technology general manager said their clients include small white box partners, system integrators, merchant retailers, VARs and product developers.
Ho is launching an All in One PC with a touch screen, desktop, keyboard, mouse and CPU drive. She said the product has already had a lot of interest from shopkeepers, banks and hotel chains.
“Touch screens are becoming much more popular because they are easier to operate. In future, the keyboard and mouse will eventually be phased out. We are seeing a slow down in consumer spending, the market is not good and people don’t want to spend as much money,” said Ho.
“As a result, we are bringing out more products and expanding on what products we can offer to counteract the market. People want something that is different, that they don’t already see on the market. Our aim is to become a one-stop shop for our customers,” she added.
Ho claims the All in One PC is different to Apple because it is built into the monitor and customisable according to what the client wants, such as upgrading the memory or changing the CPU.
She said: “It is good for choice, a good price and we offer a good service. We have a free range service on choice because we can adapt the product according to what the customer wants."
"There are not many manufacturers making them at the moment but we think they are a sign of the times because in the future everything will be touch screen, from in the home, such as in the kitchen or the bathroom to banks, hotel chains and shops."
Also Techonolgy is based in NSW and Melbourne and has sub-distributors in Brisbane, Gold coast, South Australia, Perth and Darwin.
