Wireless solutions vendor Actiontec has named Alloys as the Australian distributor for its ScreenBeam range of wireless displays.

Alloys has been charged with cracking the enterprise and education markets.

ScreenBeam's portfolio includes wireless displays co-engineered with Microsoft typically deployed in classrooms or in workplaces to improve productivity.

“We see Alloys as an ideal distribution partner to further grow the ScreenBeam brand together and expand our presence in Australia through their established reseller channel across markets such as corporate/enterprise, education and in industries including automation, security and IP telephony,” said Actiontec senior sales director Johnny Lin.

Alloys CEO Paul Harman chipped in, saying: “We are thrilled about this new partnership with Actiontec, their innovative solutions and strong desire to partner with the Australian reseller channel make them a perfect addition to our constantly growing Visual Solutions offering.

“As we are increasingly consuming and more content on multiple devices, ScreenBeam technology streamlines this vital collaboration requirement.”

Alloys scored another distribution deal with unified communications vendor Grandstream in February to sell its range of IP voice, video, data and mobility products. The distie also partnered with home automation vendor Fibaro in December last year.
