Allied Telesis has launched the "eco-friendly" versions of its AT-FS750/24POE, AT-FS750/48 (pictured) and AT-GS950/48 gigabit Ethernet WebSmart switches.
The products replace those of the same name but include what Allied Telesis' had dubbed environmentally ECO-Switch technology.
According to the vendor, the technology turns off the LEDs automatically after 15 minutes and minimises technology use to ensure the appropriate power is driven.
Meanwhile, Allied Telesis' spokesperson has told CRN that the vendor has added cloud focused Vadis Systems to its distributor line-up.
"The deal is fairly new," the spokesperson said.
The AT-FS750/24POE, AT-FS750/48 and AT-GS950/48 products are available from April from distributors Anixter, WhiteGold Solutions, Pacific Communications and Vadis Systems.
