Akamai appoints Louis Tague as regional VP and MD of ANZ

Akamai has named Louis Tague as regional VP and MD of ANZ.

Tague will have overall responsibility for Akamai's business in ANZ, focusing on accelerating growth, building stronger customer and partner relationships, and helping customers get more value from Akamai as their technology needs change.

He brings more than 20 years of enterprise technology sales and leadership experience in ANZ, He has held senior leadership roles at CrowdStrike, Google Cloud Security, Mandiant/FireEye and Veritas.

“The region is an important market for Akamai, and our customers need a leader who understands both the local environment and the pressures they face,” said Sean Li, SVP and MD of APAC at Akamai.

“Louis knows this market well and has built strong teams and grown enterprise technology businesses in both markets. I am confident he will build on the foundation already in place and bring our teams, customers and partners even closer together.”

Tague said Akamai has strong customer relationships and a broad set of security, AI and cloud capabilities.
