Adobe's Asia Pac boss exits
Paul Robson

The president of Adobe Asia Pacific, Craig Tegel, has resigned, with Paul Robson immediately taking the role.

"Craig has led extensive growth for Adobe in Asia Pacific. I thank him for his incredible contribution," said Matt Thompson, executive vice president of worldwide field operations for Adobe.

Tegel will part with Adobe on 1 July after seventeen years with the company. His final post as president of Asia Pacific started in October 2012.

"Paul Robson has commenced in his new role leading Asia Pacific effective immediately," said Thompson. "I’m confident our business in Asia Pacific will continue to thrive under his leadership.”

The vendor said in a statement that Robson was recruited as managing director for ANZ in November 2012, and since May last year he has headed up enterprise sales in Asia Pacific.

"This is a vibrant, diverse and rewarding region and I’m looking forward to working with our customers," said Robson.

Robson will be based in Sydney but will tour the entire Asia Pacific region regularly as president. Prior to his Adobe career, Robson was general manager for Hewlett Packard's networking division. Adobe's statement said that he is a board member of Tresillian, the Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, a healthcare NGO.
