Before joining Absolute, Ferguson served as Asia-Pacific vice-president for Nexsan Storage and Security Solutions, where he oversaw sales and marketing activities across the region.

He previously held management positions with Cisco Systems Australia and Palo Alto Networks.

Absolute provides endpoint security and data risk management solutions, and has offices in Australia, the US, the UK and Canada.

Ferguson said he was looking forward to working with colleagues both in Australia and overseas.
