A CRN Christmas message

It's less than a week out from Christmas, and the team at CRN want to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

It's been a long, busy year for the channel. Not only is the technology industry, and many other industries, battling through difficult economic times, internal turmoil at many large tech vendors and trends challenging traditional business models are threatening the livelihood of resellers.

Adapt or die has been the key message to come out of 2012. Resellers are being forced to change their approach to meet the challenges posed by cloud computing and BYOD, not to mention the ever-present threat of online retail.

But these challenges also provide opportunity, and we saw great success stories from resellers who have done just that. The 2012 CRN Fast50 2012 were testament to the power of reinvention and innovation.

This year's CRN Fast50 was undoubtedly our most successful. Each year we are proud to celebrate the very best of the channel and this year saw a number of new and very talented companies making it onto the list.

Our commitment

We strive to bring you the most relevant, insightful and interesting news affecting your business every day. It's been a pleasure hearing your stories this year and reporting on the issues that affect you the most.

That said, CRN will be winding down over the break to take a (we believe well-earned) break. Tomorrow will be our last day of full service for the year, until we return at full steam on January 14.

We will, however, be updating the website regularly over the break, so make sure to check in to keep abreast of all the top channel stories as they break.
