4,000 Samsung tablets turned into EFTPOS machines

Rewardle is integrating an EFTPOS payment platform from Mint Payments into nearly 4,000 of its digital marketing tablets.

Merchants can install a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, provided by Rewardle, at the checkout so customers can access loyalty rewards by swiping their card or mobile app.

My upgrading these devices with the Mintergrate payment platform, Rewardle’s merchants can receive EFTPOS payment from these same devices.

This allows merchants to replace their EFTPOS payment system.

Rewardle managing director Ruwan Weerasooriya said the offering will increase utility and value for merchants.

“The Mint integration provides us with an additional data source that we can use to help merchants to grow their business while also unlocking potential revenue stream for Rewardle,” said Weerasooriya.
