Based in Wellington, Van Dinther will focus on building 3Com’s customer and partner relationships as well as identifying and responding to new opportunities in the region.
“3Com is thoroughly committed to establishing a presence for our partners and customers in New Zealand and we are confident that John’s appointment will be a very positive move for 3Com,” said Grant Howe, 3Com country manager A/NZ.
“Since John has joined our team, we have already begun to strengthen our focus in New Zealand.
“By having someone on the ground, it not only means that we are becoming more productive but that, most importantly, our customers and partners are getting the attention they deserve,” he added.
Van Dinther previously spent two and a half years with property improvers, realtyRETURNS where he was the director of business design.
In his 23 years in IT, he was telecommunications sales manager at Philips New Zealand Ltd and also held roles at Datacom, IT at ICL (now Fujitsu) and Sperry Univac (now Unisys).
