An Australian-first deployment of Microsoft Healthcare Dynamics 365 and a system speeding up support for veterans are among the partner finalist projects in the ESG category of the 2024 CRN Impact Awards.
The awards, sponsored by Amazon Web Services (AWS), recognise the impact of Australian IT channel-led projects, innovation, ESG initiatives and leaders. Winners will be revealed at the gala CRN Impact Awards dinner which will take place at the 2024 CRN Pipeline conference on August 15.
The ESG category recognises Australian partner projects or offerings that have contributed to positive environmental, social or governance outcomes.
The ESG partner finalists are:
- Kirra Services’ Cyber Career Starter program: this program aims to address underrepresentation of indigenous, female and neurodiverse people in the ICT sector, through training, mentorship and support. This includes a “flexible learning experience tailored to individual needs and learning styles”.
- Delta Insights’ Microsoft's Cloud for Healthcare Dynamics 365 deployment for DPV Health: Touted as an Australian first, this solution created a single source of truth across multiple service portfolios, from medical and dental to mental health and aged care.
- TechConnect's platform to help Port of Brisbane to report on sustainability compliance: TechConnect designed and implemented this platform to centralise, clean and visualise sustainability data, including solar, power, water, waste and financial data.
- The Baidam Initiative: this program aims to provide indigenous people with pathways to employment in cyber security roles and funding for cybersecurity certification training.
- Blue Connections IT’s carbon neutral certification: The business was certified carbon neutral by Pangolin Associates against the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard for the 2023 financial year, which involved assessment of greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain.
- ONGC’s development of the Veterans Wellbeing Management System: developed for Veterans Wellbeing Network Mid North Coast in NSW, this system has streamlined support services for veterans in need, reducing administrative processing time by at least 25 to 30 percent.
Due to the large number of entries, we will not be announcing vendor and distributor finalists. Vendors, distributor and partner winners will be announced at the gala CRN Impact Awards event on August 15 during the 2024 CRN Pipeline conference.
Thank you to everyone who entered this category. If your entry isn’t a finalist, that does not mean the judges thought it was without merit. We received many entries and separating the nominations was not always straightforward. Thank you for giving the judges the opportunity to learn more about your achievements.
We also thank AWS for making the 2024 IoT Awards possible though their sponsorship.
The CRN Impact Award winners will be announced at the gala awards dinner on Thursday 15th August on the final night of the CRN Pipeline conference at the Sheraton Grand Mirage on the Gold Coast. See the CRN Pipeline agenda and purchase tickets.
