VMworld 2016: on the show floor
[Photos] Cars, swords and Game of Thrones all showed up in Las Vegas.

In the centre of show floor is, of course, VMware.
CDW brought out one lux truck, complete with two server racks inside.
One of the best competitions involved an American Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course.
Queues, queues, queues everywhere, including this for a workshop being held inside a nightclub, during the day.
There were a few magicians, including this one who mixed his usual schtick with server and cloud talk.
Yes, the skew was overwhelmingly male, so it's no surprise that there was a specially decked out Audi R8 on display.
Being the King of Hammer could net you some nice swag.
A virtual reality racing setup had prizes for the day's fastest drivers.
Virtual reality is so hot right now.
Yes, you could take a photo to recreate scenes from The Hangover, but getting a real tiger would be way more fun.
We're guessing that George R.R. Martin wasn't attending this year.
That doesn't look like Valyrian steel to us.
