The packaging is nothing fancy, with the tablet coming wrapped in a protective plastic envelope.
The pack is rudimentary, with charger and USB cable for hooking the Tab up to a PC.
The A500 is one of the few tablets out there that has a USB port built in.
The rear is unassuming, we like the look of the gunmetal grey housing, but still aren't sold on the feel.
Mini-HDMI is also included to make connection to larger displays easy.

Both tablets use 10in screens but different Aspect ratios. The jury is still out on which is the better design, but Acer's is a more HD-video friendly aspect ratio.
The major difference on the surface is that Honeycomb does away with the physical home button for Android, while Apple still includes one on the iPad 2.
