The metallic lid is surprisingly robust and contributes to the NB550D's great feel.
It has the Internet, in HD! This label is part of AMD's VISION strategy and denotes the kind of uses that the netbook is suitable for.
Like most netbooks, expansion options are limited. There are two USB 2 ports on one side.
And there is Gigabit ethernet, HDMI and a third USB 3 ports on the other side.
The 10in screen makes for a pretty standard layout. The most striking part of the design are the Harmon Kardon speakers.
Netbook keyboards vary a lot, this one feels very solid and the trackpad is nicely textured and responsive.
The metallic lid is surprisingly robust and contributes to the NB550D's great feel.
