These are the vendors bolstering Google's Cloud Platform

Google Cloud made a number of announcements at its 2019 Next conference in San Francisco, including Anthos - the new name of its Cloud Services Platform - a new AI platform, cloud-native development through Cloud Code, and new changes to G Suite.

Google also revealed a spate of new vendor integrations for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ranging from open source databases to cloud storage providers.

The following slides include the vendors that announced partnerships with the internet giant this week.

Confluent, DataStax, Elastic, InfluxData, MongoDB, Neo4j and Redis Labs

Google Cloud will start offering these open source projects as managed services within GCP, where customers will get unified management, support and a single bill from Google through a single user interface.

Box

The storage vendor added G Suite add-ons to bring Box to apps like Gmail and Google Calendar. 

Cohesity

The hyperconverged secondary storage vendor introduced a SaaS solution delivering "enterprise-grade" backup and recovery for applications running on Google Cloud.

Citrix

Citrix brought its SD-WAN solution and Citrix Application Delivery Controller (ADC) to GCP. The vendor said it will give customers more cloud choice and a simpler way to deliver SaaS, cloud, virtual and web apps to their employees.

McAfee

The security vendor integrated its MVISION Cloud with GCP's cloud security command centre, offering security professionals visibility and control over cloud resources while detecting threats.

Nvidia

The graphics card vendor integrated its Quadro Virtual Workstation solution with GCP, making Google Cloud the first cloud instance to offer it on cloud GPU Nvidia T4.

The solution, paired with the GPU, allows GCP users to deploy computer graphics tech like real-time ray tracing, AI, simulation and rasterisation — from any location, on any device.

Dropbox

The cloud storage vendor has added Google Docs, Sheets and Slides into its Dropbox file system, allowing users to create, edit, and store documents.

Genesys

The call centre tech vendor extended its integration with Google Cloud Contact Center AI across its PureEngage, PureConnect and PureCloud platforms, bringing AI-powered virtual assistants to handle routine calls and chats or escalate an interaction to an employee when needed.
