The 2024 CompTIA ANZ Spotlight Awards were held at the Le Montage Reception Centrein Sydney last night, recognising people and organisations for “leadership, commitment to diversity and innovation in the IT industry”.
“The awards are a highlight of our annual event calendar for our member regions, honouring those who work tirelessly to advance the global tech community,” stated MJ Shoer, chief community officer, CompTIA.
The awards were judged by members of CompTIA Community's ASEAN, Benelux, DACH, North America, UK, and Ireland regional groups, and a member of the CompTIA Community Workforce Advisory Council.

Avocado Consulting Senior Consultant Raymond McCullagh received the ANZ Future Leader Award.
MyCISO's Vanessa Sunassee was the runner up for the ANZ Advancing Women in Technology Leadership Award.
Pax8's Elliot Seeto was the runner-up for the ANZ Cybersecurity Leadership Award.
Sophos Senior Global Solutions Engineer Aaron Jacobs received the ANZ Cybersecurity Leadership Award for his "outstanding leadership and engagement in providing cybersecurity expertise and strengthening cybersecurity resilience within the technology industry."
Pax8 was the runner up for the ANZ Advancing Diversity in Technology Leadership Award.
CyberCX received the ANZ Advancing Diversity in Technology Leadership Award for its "positive impacts in advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within the technology industry".
Phriendly Phishing was the runner-up for the ANZ Solution Provider Award.
Avocado Consulting recieved the ANZ Solution Provider Award for "its strong leadership and innovation in advancing the technology industry".
Huntress received the ANZ Innovative Vendor Award for its "pioneering approach to creating solutions within the technology industry."
MyCISO (pictured) and iasset.com were runners-up for the ANZ Innovative Vendor Award.
Pax8 was the runner-up for the ANZ Innovative Distributor Award.
NEXTGEN Group received the ANZ Innovative Distributor Award for its "significant impact in innovating and growing the technology industry."
Avocado Consulting Marketing Manager Amy Kitson received the ANZ Advancing Women in Technology Leadership Award for her "strong leadership and significant contributions as an advocate for women in technology."
Nortec IT CEO David Norris received the ANZ Community Leadership Award for “service and impact as an advocate and role model in advancing the technology industry.” Pax8's Maria Armstrong was the runner-up.
