The ASUS Eee Pad acts as a supplementary Windows-based portable tablet PC, claimed Asus. The 12” Eee Pad EP121 is a full-featured slate computer that serves as a multimedia player, e-reader, compact PC and internet device.

For added mobility, the 10’’ Eee Pad EP101TC comes in at a mere 675g and a slim, pocket-friendly 12.2mm, claimed Asus.

Like other Garmin-Asus Android-powered devices, the A10 includes Garmin’s premium, turn-by-turn, voice-prompted navigation capabilities. The A10 integrates Google Mobile Services with one-click access to Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, calendar, contacts and Android Market.

The Garmin-Asus M10 runs on Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Austin Bryan, marketing director at Optus Consumer said, "Partnering with Garmin allows us to deliver a first class navigation system to our customers on an awesome Android smartphone and at $0 upfront on an Optus ‘yes’ Social $29 plan over 24 months.

The app store is powered by the Intel AppUpSM Centre. This store lets end users enjoy downloads of useful applications whenever they log online.

This service will be preinstalled in all ASUS Eee PC models with the Intel AtomTM processor.

It will be available for Windows* from 2H 2010, and for MeeGo when it launches in 2011.
