Lenovo has revealed the latest in its Windows 8 assault, debuting the ThinkPad Twist. The hybrid ultrabook/tablet device will arrive on October 26 in line with Windows 8.
The rotating hinge design allows it to be twisted, turned, folded and flipped. The 12.5in ultrabook has a 1366 x 768 HD display, measures 20mm thick and weighs 1.6kg.
It runs on a Core i5 or Core i7 Intel chip. It will retail for $A1049. Pictured: the Twist as a tablet.
It offers up to 500GB of storage, optional 128GB SSD, mini-HDMI input as well as Display Port, two USB 3.0 and Ethernet ports.
It's the latest Windows 8 machine to arrive from Lenovo. Just last month Lenovo announced its ThinkPad Tablet 2, a business tablet aimed at enterprises. That will also launch at the same time as Windows 8.
