HP unveiled a new line of notebooks at its Shanghai Global Influencer Summit this week. The Sleekbook doesn't meet Intel's rigid ultrabook requirements - the thin, lightweight notebooks come with AMD processors, traditional hard drives and plastic casings. They're also thicker, at 19.8mm. The Envy 4 14in and Envy 6 15.6in are the first in the range, and are both powered by an AMD A-10 APU and Radeon HD 7620G graphics chip. They also come with two USB 3.0, a USB 2.0, HDMI and Ethernet ports. Sleekbooks are significantly cheaper than their ultrabook compatriots, with the 15.6in Envy set to retail for $US600.
