What gets you out of bed in the morning?
My two young daughters. I’ve not needed an alarm clock since they were born.
What is your strangest job?
Call me boring but I don’t recall doing any strange jobs in my adult life. Perhaps cleaning the grandstands of an AFL football arena in my junior days set me up with what I didn’t want to do as a career.
Your philosophy on life?
You can only be right 80 percent of the time. The rest of the time you learn from others.
Who is your favourite superstar and why?
Current AFL legend Robert Harvey. After so many years of disappointment at St Kilda, he still manages to rise and be an influential figure.
What are you listening to?
Quite a mixed bag depending on the mood – from Green Day and Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Coldplay and The Verve.
What do you want to do before you retire?
I want to do everything necessary to support and prepare my daughters for their adult life.
